Born in Charleroi, Sarah Lowie studied photography at the ESA le 75 based in Brussels. She completed her training at the same school in printed plural image. She creates her first project SIXMILLE which she publishes herself. SIXMILLE has been exhibited several times, notably at the Contretype (Be), at the Médiatine (Be) – where it received the prize of the Laureate of the City of Brussels -, at le Musée de la photographie de Charleroi (BE), at the Nuits photographiques d’Essaouira (Ma) – where it received the special mention. His second project, the chronological continuation of the SIXMILLE project: Chaque jour, je suis avec toi (Every day, I am with you) is exhibited at the Centrale d’art contemporain (Be). Sarah has a strong taste for social and intimate subjects. In 2022, she received the second place of the Fintro Prijs Award. She is co-founder of La Nombreuse (Brussels). She has been published in The Word (BE), Burn Magazine (USA), Medor (BE), Wilfried (BE), etc.
